Stop. Scaring. The. Public. Although rare, engines can fail. The amount of redundancy on a commercial airliner is truly unbelievable. The plane can fly just fine on the other engine. Great job to the entire crew.

People saying calm down, a plane can fly with one engine 🤡 but why do we want that? Can’t we have 100% safe planes like the olden days a year ago? Can’t we not see a plane crash once a month while simultaneously having people hop in with a “well actually” and then regurgitating stats about cars being more dangerous than planes? Like people, planes also used to be safer than planes are! 😭

The planes are completely capable of flying and landing with one engine. They turned around exactly like you’re supposed to. This wouldn’t cause a crash or anything.
