@humankind: When this 6-year-old needed an emergency liver transplant, her mom Lindsey stepped in to save her life. Hollis was born with a rare liver disease. Along with her 6-month-old sister Hazel, she has too few bile ducts. After six years of monitoring her health, Hollis' condition progressed and she needed a transplant. She was matched with an anonymous donor, but sadly, the transplant failed. Fortunately, Lindsey was also found to be a match. With no time to lose, she donated part of her liver to save her daughter's life.  The emergency surgery was a success. Now, the family is home recovering together.  "If it weren't for God, our family, friends, and supporters, I don't know if she would have made it.
