They aren’t allowed to use spider-man alone that’s why most of his movies are crossovers. They can’t just use Spider-man. it sucks but blame Sony.

The way the contract is with Marvel and Sony is that an MCU character HAS to make an appearance in the Spider-Man movie (Tony, Fury, Strange) if memory serves

Would love for Spider-Man to get a movie where it’s just him but sadly he can’t bc of the contract but doesn’t mean they can’t be good bc look at the captain America movies, black widow & fury was in winter soldier & civil war was a mini avengers movie but both was still captain America focused, so as long as spidey still the focal point & allows him to be Spider-Man & grow im okay with it

It does sound like another ensemble hero film but perhaps Punisher and Hulk could be in the place where Matt was in NWH, quick in n out at least I hope this would lead to Kingpin

They have to have one other hero in as a bare minimum as part of the contract. They can still work most media pertaining to spidey involve other help but they need Peter to do the saving the pep talks. All of that. He’s an adult now. He doesn’t need help all the time he needs to do the helping
