@jodielaingxox: We need to be more mindful of the artists we choose to support and idolise. As women, abuse and sexual assault are heartbreakingly common — yet still treated as taboo. During my psychology degree, I studied victim blaming and sexual violence, and I can tell you: this is a very real and serious issue. With everything we know about Chris Brown’s history, choosing to ignore it isn’t just a personal preference — it’s willful ignorance. If you’re still attending his concerts or defending him, it’s time to educate yourself.
