My friend works for a tech company. Every once in awhile his boss tells him to grab a random person off the street and offer them a tour. Lets them look at things. The boss then tells them problems that they are having with certain projects. 5 times out of 10 the random person gives a suggestion that they never thought of, that ends up fixing whatever issue they were having. Sometimes you need an outside perspective to get you through things.

The former manager at the assisted living I was working at when during my shift, between cooking and serving, I took apart the only oven which is double industrial convection ovenand got it looking practically brand new including the back fans and all & all back together making sure it worked properly and still clocked out early 🤣

They were shocked when I put away three tubs of thread in three hours. I explained my process, sorting them by color(type) then number, then simply going up and down each row. I did in three hours what another might take five to do. they were shook at how fast I was.
