I appreciate the innovation, but i think everybody just uses a pneumatic or electric finishing nailer and wire brads. Much faster and it’s easy to cover the holes before painting.

at 0.86 in total length you're not nailing the baseboard to anything but the drywall😳. Good idea but useless for traditional home with gypsum walls.
