Panic disorder is crippling, I do miss who I used to be, so open, so happy, it was all so easy. All of a sudden a flick switched in my head and I’m the complete opposite.

This is me . I’m so annoyed I can’t do the simple things I used to. A year into agoraphobia and I’ve had a few days of going out of the house but it’s so hard I feel like I’m constantly failing

After suffering anxiety for 20 years I know people recover but I can't imagine that fear of anxiety ever going away. Once uve experienced it I don't think your ever truly free of it. I think u just learn to manage it

I don’t think that you can get rid of panic attacks, maybe learn to live with it, but I don’t think that the brain can forget about fear

Hallo :
Wow I have been agoraphobic for 5 years. Just coming out of it. Kind of. Gained so much weight. I used to be a head turner. I’m scared that woman is gone. I’m fighting for her. I’ve lost 57 pounds (30 to go). Still worry I’ve buried myself too deep and I won’t be able to be the version of myself that I actually like. I’ve done too much damage I fear

Yes the hardest part while in the middle of recovery is telling myself I’m pathetic I should be doing all I used to do, it adds pressure and can force wrong exposures and more trauma, kindness to self is hard but necessary, slowly healing it’s tough.
