If you want to make it tighter try twisting the opposite way you usually do it’s gonna be a little uncomfortable at first and try starting it off with a braid. Braid your natural hair down a bit then wrap the hair around it and braid the hair down then start twisting

if wanna try smaller twists in the future I’d suggest looking into crocheting the hair into the top and braiding a little then twisting!! it’ll last so long and beginner friendly :)

you did a good job for your first time. next time do small ponytails and crochet the hair through the base and twist it like that. it's more beginner friendly
