my wife was a Advocate and a manager of case management for the state and when they went private she got hired by the private company and it was a mess within a year the first private company left leaving everybody high and dry and then the next one came in and hired everybody but at a lower rate and it it's just it's been a mess after a mess after a mess she finally got out of that field and was hired in a another field in the original MCO so now she works for the insurance company doing something that she loves but it's another person short in the field so yeah by the way also from Iowa Liz I love your stuff so keep it up

Medicaid has the LOWEST reimbursement with the MOST stringent documentation and providers who take Medicaid work with the MOST ACUTE populations. Increase Medicaid reimbursements!!!

YSS just announced they are discontinuing their PMM services July 1. Canceled all appointments after that date. Giving ppl 2 weeks to find new providers.

@Rob Sand I fully agree. But please, speak louder, speak in a tone that the people will hear in the "the farmer" language. They are the obstacles. Urban Iowa definitely agrees, but as a blue 🔵 in farmland, it's incredibly hard to make your voice heard.

I can’t tell you how many offices I called looking for psych care that ended in me crying uncontrollably because they wouldn’t take any new patients. A pcp won’t even prescribe mental heath meds anymore.

It took me years to find a psychologist and a therapist. Most places only take you for one appt in my area. How am I supposed to be stable on medication if there are no providers?
