Confession time: I'm chronically unable to outline anything. I've tried it a few times and it just ... kills the creativity for me. It's a lot more fun just follow the characters and see where they take me and clean up the plot after than try to rigidly follow a ✨plan✨.

Here’s how it went for me. Step 1: make an outline Step 2: write Step 3: realise you diverted too far from it Step 4: panic (a little) Step 5: keep writing until finished Step 6: laugh at your original outline

I don't know what an outline is- At this point, my characters must exist in a parallel universe and I am just writing whatever they are doing, cause, for some reason, the universe has linked my mind with their universe. I DIDN'T CREATE THEM! THEY JUST CHOSE ME TO DOCUMENT THEIR STORY!

i had an outline and ended up scraping it along with around 30 pages of writing. Changed the entire beginning of the book and added a whole new purpose to the mmc life changing the entire plot of the book... haha 😅
