I also grew up in a hoarder house so I’ll give you some of my advice. In terms of bug control salt works wonders and is typically pet safe (this works mainly for maggots) for fly control a common thing used is apple cider vinegar, if you’re able to control the flies you can help eliminate the maggots. Flies are attracted to food, specifically things with moisture and especially in heat, any food garbage should be taken out if you’re able to. If it’s possible for you and you have your own space try your best to keep it clean and organized I promise it will help. I know living in a hoarder home isn’t fun and it’s definitely mentally draining but hang in there. If all else fails contact CPS and explain your situation. Just remember even tho you’re a minor you can still make the choices you need to to stay safe and healthy.

i wouldn’t judge your situation, google says: Okay, so dealing with maggots can be tricky, but here's a DIY approach: Okay, so dealing with maggots can be tricky, but here's a DIY approach: Mix equal parts of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Add a few drops of tea tree oil or eucalyptus oil for extra disinfecting power. Spray the affected area thoroughly, making sure to saturate the carpet fibers. Let it sit for about 30 minutes, then blot up the excess liquid with paper towels. Also, sprinkle some diatomaceous earth (food grade) over the area after it's dry. This stuff is non-toxic to humans but deadly to insects. Leave it for a few days, then vacuum it up. Conclusion: A mix of white vinegar, water, and tea tree or eucalyptus oil, followed by diatomaceous earth, should help kill the maggots. Just make sure to clean up any food sources to prevent them from coming back!
