I really loved that in veilguard. They could had easily just thrown in top surgery scars and called it a day. But no, your rook can flat out say they are trans or non-binary. I was planning on my rook being a trans woman (since I want to make more trans ocs) since I finished inquisition and was blown away that it was an option in veilguard. Also that the game kinda acknowledges being T4T with Taash.

One of my favorite OCs (Rowan-Corvus de Riva-pictured below) was birthed out of this game on his own because of the ability to be trans and also help me learn more about myself being queer. My Inquisitior is Gender Fluid! he's in a poly situation with Bull and Dorian! he either give people shit(hot headed) or continues to purposely confuse people if they try to give him shit for their more femmine tendencies(1. its for his dead mom, 2. he's a qunari but not in the qun , he actively hates it but thats a longer story)

💜 that’s what I call it LGBTevinter, even if they don’t “let me be” ha ha. Say that to my fanfic and fanart you FOOLS. Dragon Age is for the LGBT community. Every person I know personally who’s a fan of DA is lgbt. We been here, we’ll always be. Making us part of a story in a direct way is a little late, however, we always have been and always will be part of these stories.

Correct to all of this!! and i wish they let you make your inky trans in VG. even if it doesn’t effect anything it would have been nice (also an opportunity to have a gay solas romance, even if it’s retroactive. ) All of my PCs are trans!

Pretty much the only thing I really enjoyed about Veilguard was the discussions of being trans. Playing as a trans character was also just really nice and having the option to be non binary was great too. Was all the dialogue perfect? No. Did it feel clunky in some places? Yeah. Was it still leagues above the usual rep and discussions u see in media? Yessss
