Just to answer people asking why Biafra Army’s had to march to Western Region during the civil war it’s because of battle strategy. Because at that time the Capital of Nigeria was LAGOS so to gain a quick victory you have to go for the chain of command, the Biafra Army could not go about the whole Nation fighting so there had to March to the Capital because if there had captured Lagos there would have won and ended the war as it was the quickest way to gain victory, there didn’t just plan on marching to Lagos just to conquer, it was to maximize the war and gain quick victory. Also for you all information I am not IGBO I am EDO just in case anyone chooses to bring tribalism into this.
