@youropinionmatters123: Trump brought up Hannibal Lecter numerous times on his campaign trail. Bringing him up again today very proudly and happily. Referring to Hannibal Lecter as the “late great Hannibal Lecter“. If you’ve seen the movies or read the books, you know that Hannibal does not die. What is concerning is that Trump refers to Hannibal as if he is a real life human being. Stating that he loves Hannibal Lecter because Hannibal Lecter said that he ‘loved Donald Trump’. Again, a fictional character has now confessed their love for Donald Trump. Trump brings this up as he talks about the border being closed. That a bunch of Hannibal Lecters were entering our country and eating people. Now, aside from the fact that thousands of people that entered our country had started eating people is false, it is deeply concerning that Trump refers to Hannibal Lecter as one of those real life people.
