The containers have holes in the bottom because they are meant to be used as a strainer itself so when you get home you just wash it in the container it came in and put it into a separate sealed container to store it

If you put a piece of paper towel in the container too it holds the moisture so they don’t mold as quickly

What makes them last longer is not washing them on day 1 and leaving them in the fridge. Wash when you are about to eat them per sitting

Aren't you supposed to not wash until you eat them though or else they'd mold faster when stored. So you'd never be able to wash them all at once so the strainer would never come in handy

I wash mine and then put them on a plate spread out with a paper towel under it. Keeps the moisture down!
