YOU KNOW IT HITS DIFFERENT WHEN ITS TWELEVE!! NOT GUILTY ON A FELONY UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM!! But it hits REAL DIFFERENT in DUPAGE COUNTY!! #TheDuchessOfDupage 👸🏻👸🏻 IGHT SO BOOOOOM; we never got an offer lower than felony probation, even though my guy didn’t have any felony background. There is one thing I live by: YOU FIGHT THE FIRST ONE!!! It can extremely hard to face the real possibility of prison as a young man; but the idea of becoming a felon for your entire life; well that can be hard to comprehend or understand. THAT IS WHY I LOVE MY YOUNG CLIENTS. There is nothing quite like saving a young man’s fate. #YNAttorney 😝😝 Anywho, client is the back of a GMC, his two friends in the front. They get pulled over by two detectives in plain clothes for a “seatbelt” - mmm. Did a motion to Supress. Denied. They pull the car over and can’t claim to remeber whether the windows are tinted (even after they watch a video showing that the windows were tinted in trial in front of the jury 😒) but walked to the passenger side and eventually saw my clients: making a downward motion, tapping the pocket on the back, reaching towards the center of the vehicle, pushing the gun down, touching the top of the back pocket, grabbing the rim: I COULDNT FUCKING TELL YOU BECAUSE THEY WOULDNT STICK TO ONE STORY!!!! A few things were clear; they never saw my client with the gun. Never saw him touch it. But it did have something interesting on it: a sticker from a clothing brand; the same clothing brand my guy had on the T-shirt he was arrested in!! WELL YALL AINT THINK IT WAS A LAY UP NOW DID YOU?!! However, that’s when tried and true stepped in: sloppy police work. BOYYYY LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING. THIS IS A COURT OF LAW, NOT OF LOGOs. Stop playing with me. And although they put on gloves they didn’t send the gun down for DNA or fingerprints. Although there were officers on the scene with BWC, those detectives decided to recover the gun with out BWC or asking another officer to record it. Despite having department issued phones, they took no pictures of the position of the gun in the vehicle. BOY IF YOU DONT #GTFO A STICKER IS SILLY. #NotGuilty #CallCierra - @attorneycierranorris
