Intesne cardio after workout does lose u muscle or slow down progress and let me tell u why, ur body takes energy from the food u eat like carbs turn into glucose and ur body uses that as fuel if its not enough it will use glycogen which is like a storage system for “emergency glucose” its like taking urgent money from a savings account and if thats also not enough ur body will start giving u energy from anything else such as burning muscles or excess fat etc.. moral of the story if u want to do cardio do it in its own day not after an intense workout that is assuming u are trying to build muscle not lose weight.
