I have one and I ALWAYS cover the toilet seat first with those disposable sheet(I buy them bulk from Amazon, they are large and cover the whole seat plus some), then put the toilet seat down. Never just put it on a bear toilet seat.

I have this and also buy the XL water proof dispoable seat covers so i put the seat cover down and then this on top also im a little extra and carry travel size lysol so i spray the seat down before doing all this.

Had one of those of my son was young. But I also used the disposable toilet seat covers and put them down after wipe the toilet with Clorox wipes that I kept in Ziploc bags. Also wipe down the foldable kids toilet seat with a Clorox wipe before I put it back in the bag.

The auction on these is pretty strong the only down side is that you still have to clean it so I use the disposable ones now
