I think it’s fair to say that you can have really great actors that do their best in terrible films, but also have terrible actors just exist in really good films. Much like how Bale performed in Thor 4, he was everyone’s favorite and tried so hard for the character but ultimately the movie sucked.

I think it’s one of the worse castings Marvel have done IMO, the only reason he was casted is because they know people will talk about the film, their is so many better actors for the role

Rdj is a great actor and no doubt he's gonna do a good job but at the same time, it's the principle of it all that bothers me. It's so clearly pandering to nostalgia and the fact that Doom is (once again) gonna be played by a white guy.

Doom will be a Tony variant that’s acting on eviil intent, he will do all the things a Doom should right up until Morgan interacts with him in Secret Wars making him do the right thing and play the hero. He’ll “make the sacrifice play” so that an actual Victor Von Doom can appear later in a future F4 movie
