I just got married and definitely the first steps would be is to figure out your budget and book a venue! I had a wedding planner as well as a day of coordinator which to me was 100% worth it! It added so much less stress and helped me fully be present for my wedding day. I knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding and they helped me execute it so perfectly! They also helped me make sure i wasn’t forgetting anything and were so organized. Whatever you decide for your day it will be absolutely beautiful! So excited for you🩷🩷

do a micro wedding, but then have a big reception party sometime after with all your family and friends and anyone else you wanted to invite but couldn't!! 🤍 it could be somewhere simple such as a pavilion at a park or whatever you'd like!

Rent a big airbnb and that can be your venue and it can be any place in the world that you choose! I’ve seen some people do this online and it’s a great idea😊

Look into elopement company’s that also have micro weddings!! We had our in Vegas at the valley of fire and had 10 people. The company planned everything I just have to plan our getting ready, transportation, and after party! But everything wedding wise they handled!! The company is called epicElopment they have so many locations!

oo girl!! I live in Napa Valley super close to San Francisco. The venues here are absolutely beautiful. But definitely on the pricey side. I have a few I can thing of. Let me know if you want to hear about them or have any questions ☺️☺️☺️

We just got married in April and your bridal era is the best time ever! I planned the whole thing on my own for 125 people and it was so worth seeing all your hard work pay off at the end! It’s definitely doable to plan on your own! We got married near our place in Capitola (Santa Cruz area) at a winery called Bargetto winery which overlooked a cute little creek. Cost was a lot cheeper than the other places we looked at in the area too if you need more places to look at!

We got married at wind & sea estate in Big Sur California! It was truly the most amazing day ever and we rented the whole house to stay in! So we woke up and got ready at the venue and then went to bed there too 😊

I definitely recommend a wedding coordinator! That way you have help and also on the day of the wedding everyone goes to that person with the stressful questions so you can focus on getting ready and enjoying the day

Im currently wedding planning as well, I’m getting married in 4 months. I highly recommend to first find your venue/set the date. Then find a photographer. There’s a checklist on Etsy that gives you a timeline. Example: “9 months before wedding- find venue” (this is just an example)
