STRANGER💫🖤 :
On November 14, 2024, she married someone else. She invited me to her wedding, saying she wanted to see me one last time before saying a permanent goodbye. She even chose and bought clothes for me, wanting me to look my best on that day.
I went to her wedding, holding back the storm inside me. I was breaking, but I couldn't let my tears show.
When I saw her, she looked like a doll-beautiful yet distant. But her eyes... they held a pain, a thousand unsaid words.
Then, one last message from her:
"Aap bohot ache lag rahe ho in kapdon me, aur aap jana mat... aaj shayad aapko aakhri baar dekh rahi hoon, iske baad shayad naseeb me ho ya na ho."
And that was it. I couldn't hold back anymore-| broke down like a child. But even through my tears, I noticed something: whenever I slipped out of her sight, she would search for me, like a baby looking for its mother.
I couldn't survive that trauma, so I left her
wedding without letting her know. I walked away, carrying a storm inside me, drowning in a silence that screamed louder than anything.
That night, I cried like never before. Sleep was nowhere to be found. And then, at 3 AM, my phone rang. It was her.
In a soft, breaking voice, she said,
"Budhu, meri shaadi ho gayi... main ab ja rahi hoon. Agar naseeb me ho toh phir milenge, lekin mujhe apni buri naseeb pe poora bharosa hai." And just like that, she was gone.
