i disagree. i used to think the same, until he broke me and ruined me in front of everyone i knew to the point where i have now lost confidence, faith, and have mental issues ... so yes, i wish someone told me this, but choose to be weak only to the point where if his true colours were to reveal, you are still mentally and emotionally stable enough and still have the strength to walk away.
