@copa90: With the collapse of Afghanistan in 2021, the Afghan Women’s National Team lost their right to represent the country due to the Taliban's ban on sport and education for women and girls, which forced many of their players into exile across Europe, Australia, the US and the UK. We joined the group in their recent summer training camp in Zurich, Switzerland, where we spoke to her about how, "football has always been a platform [for women] to advocate for their rights in a male-dominated society and to be a voice for those who have lost theirs' and 'how football is a symbol of freedom and resilience for Afghan women, who are determined not to give up this freedom. 🇦🇫 #footballtiktok #footballstories
