The driver is not at faultier. It’s the coworkers of this guy because they failed to provide for safety in the lane.

The amount of people putting blame on the workers is truly mind boggling and they should not be driving if they think the semi isn’t at fault. You have to be aware of your surroundings at all times, especially when driving a big vehicle. Why the driver hasn’t been cited yet is beyond me

The driver shouldn’t be cited! That’s all on the crew for not blocking the lane.

as a cdl driver, we are ALWAYS on the watch, its called the SMITH System. if you know that you won't clear, stop. yes they should've put cones however, as a professional driver, we always look ahead and make sure we clear.

That driver holds a DOT license and is held responsible for his or her actions. It was quite obvious that the worker was hanging over the lane that the driver drove into. Great thing is the worker only recieved minor injuries.

Doesn’t appear to be the driver’s fault if they didn’t close that turning lane?

Thankful he is ok...but that is all on the Company of that utility company...OSHA coming in to investigate this one...there should have been a barrier around him hanging over the road like that in the lane of traffic...Truck drivers should be looking side to side and front to back. NOT UP..I would have been focusing in the guy in front of me...Not looking up...the trailer got him...they should have had it blocked off...is there still OSHA in our government...Glad to see he had his harness on
..that saved his life....
