So pay women and offer reasonable family leave for childbirth, recovery and nurturing . We have set up a financial need for 2 working person/parent households with a huge financial burden for child care. Then if women stay home they are financially reliant on husbands/fathers or the government for badic financial support. Women continue to be subjugated to second class citizens through motherhood in this patriarchal system.

My husband would have loved to stay home with our twins but he is our only provider for our family. Is it fair to him????? As a woman I can confidently say women have it so much easier than men and what do we do complain about it 🙄

Yeah, also this whole fathers are protective nonsense absolutely not. Women are the ones who wake up at every noise. Women are the ones who are constantly checking the house because we’re stressed out, especially with newborns. Men are chill as hell. I don’t know where these people did their studies and where they’re getting their information from, but that percentage of men who are just, in this role that they the women are describing right now I have never seen that or heard of any anyone who experience things the way they are describing them

I'd take a 3 year break from payed work to raise babies if I could. Let's face it most people don't have careers, they have jobs which they don't even like.

That’s is not what what she asked, if men or women r the same. The question was why we judge women who wants to think about their future but we don’t judge a man. Why women have to suffer because their biology is different or mothers r better for nurturing babies?

Woman are the ones in today’s society devaluing having kids. Not men. Men and woman are biologically different. We evolved for different things. These differences led to our roles in society. Pushing back against these instincts have worsened our society in the last 40 years

I feel like we’ve gone from men are from mars to basically bullying, shaming and degrading the men in our lives, publicly embarrassing them (8m joy talking about the ones who deserve it), and bragging about taking advantage of men, faking pregnancy’s etc … I’m so glad we as woman have so much support and love among us, but I honestly think we’ve just gone to far… marriage is literally empty now.

The nurturing hormone science is just great but that doesn’t mean that women wouldn’t be upset in giving up their careers for 3 years. Imagine getting back in the job market after three years off of it! The companies would be the first to hire someone else.

Weird, I heard about many couples where the woman slept through the night, not the man, etc.. These small hormonal things can be easily overridden by behavioral changes and habits. So no, men are capable, if not by nature, but by willingness.

I've raised my son single handedly from just after birth. men can 100% take as much time off as they need to raise kids and go straight back to the career and have just the same if not more capability then women. this is utter nonsense
