I like Clone Wars, but tbh they simply butchered Dooku's character, taking all the depth away and making him comically evil. The scene in aotc when he looks just sad and tired after defeating Obi-Wan and Anakin proves that he was more morally gray than simply evil. It also looks like he never truly embraced the dark side, but rather used it out of necessity

sir Christopher Lee brought such elegancy and complexity to dooku that just no one can replicate. like just the small motions his tone his movment his eyes just EVRETHYING it truly saddens me that we never will see it again

Though Count Dooku deceived many and didn’t always speak the truth, the Jedi were too arrogant to see through the cloak of darkness. Had Qui Gon lived I reckon he may of been able to convince Anakin not be manipulated by the dark side 😞
