There is no professional more useless than college advisors. When I started scheduling my own classes things became a lot better. When I was at community college I was told “you can just take all the prerequisite classes for a 4 year university” never went back to an advisor and when I had my required meeting transferring over the advisor went “I’ll be honest I had a really hard time coming up with classes because you took so many of the low level classes already”
