I don't think y'all get 333 at ALL. 1.He didn't want to kill 120, he didn't know it was 120, he was just trying to find 222 and was unaware of that situation. 2.He didn't want to kill the baby, during the scene it was so obvious with him crying and saying "I would" etc that he was trying to convince himself to, he knew he couldn't and either way couldn't live with that. 3. The only reason he acted out was because of how heartbroken he was. He was going to sacrifice himself, and do everything for 222 and her baby to get out happy and alive, and in a dream-case scenario, him included all as a happy family. But 222 said everything in the WORST way (I'm not blaming her fully for it) and that hurt him the most. It wasn't him, it was what he just went through.

i think people really misunderstand player 333. yes, he failed as a partner and father, but he was young and desperate, squid game is literally about what people do when they’re pushed too far. i believe he genuinely loved jun hee and wanted to be there for her, but when she told him she didn’t want him in their lives, he didn’t know how to process that, so he walked away, not out of hate, but because he felt completely lost. and people act like he didn’t care about his daughter, but that’s not true either. he just didn’t know how to be a father, he never got the chance. the way he held her for the first time was heartbreaking. he was just so overwhelmed. it wasn’t cruelty. it was fear, confusion, and a man who had already lost everything.

I feel like why 333 didn't care about the baby was because he was only vulnerable with Jun hee, he never tricked her or betrayed in the games, he even offered killing himself for her and the baby BECAUSE he only saw the baby as apart of jun-hee, only a way for them to brought together as a perfect, loving family. But she died, died saying she would NEVER let him join her family, and I think he didn't care about the baby anymore because she wasn't jun-hee, she wasn't a part of her anymore, keeping her would only give him despair regret, and he wouldn't have his perfect family with jun-hee.

I will always defend him bc you could tell the start of s2 and s3 he wanted to be apart of junhees life again and when he found out about the baby you could tell he was trying to make junhee trust him again but then when junhee died he lost himself he changed into a whole different person and I don't blame him. and maybe he's not the best dad but if you lost the love of your life and was stuck in a game that kills you ofc you would go insane.

Player 333 reminds me of Player 218 (Sangwoo) from S1. A very complex character who did very horrible things in the game and because of that they’re very hated by the fandom (not defending either of them btw‼️). Both killed innocent people and characters we love dearly (Player 120 and Palyer 067), betrayed, especially their loved ones (Player 222 and Gi-hun), both characters lost by greed and desperation…

truthfully, i dont think he fully cared. when he saw her it probably gave him hope for his future, maybe he even simply tried to get someone on his side. if it came down to it though i'm convinced that, had she made it to the end, he'd have bertrayed her for his own gain. baby or not. he was selfish from the beginning and showed it time and time again. this was especially evident during the ending when Gi Hun literally offered up his own life so him and the baby could leave together but he tried stopping Gi Hun from jumping. Knowing that Gi Hun had literally risked his life multiple times for other people so and definitely was going to sacrifice himself. But instead he chose to try and leave him behind. he WANTED to kill the baby to win and somehow everyone just completely ignores that.

Notice how they both have angel numbers? Okay now stay here, I'm not finished. The angel number 222 means strong love but also patience and trust. Jun Hee had given back her trust and patience to 333 one last time, then she sacrificed herself for her baby out of love and gave all her trust and patience she had left to Gi Hun as her last hope just to SAVE her baby. And the angel number 333 means balance, love and peace. What 333 only felt with Jun Hee until she died, after her death he totally lost the minimum of balance, peace and love he had, all of that turned into hatred. He completely lost his mind because his only love, balance and peace was snatched from him. So if we're being poetic, at the end 222 finally grew her own wings because she finally found her light (her baby) in her own darkness. While 333 decided to cut off his own wings because he lost his only light (Jun Hee) that used to guide him in his own darkness.

Myung gi is sooooo much like sang woo and I loved sang woo they were both scared clever smart rational they were so strategic in games myung gi was so scared after Jun hee died he thought he betrayed her he watched her die thinking she hated him he just wanted to win he wasn’t actually gonna drop his baby if he won and the baby he would be a good father I don’t care what anyone says he would’ve

Myung gi cared about Jun-Hee, but Jun-Hee only cared about the baby, but Myung gi didn’t care about the baby. Myung gi was willing to raise the baby WITH Jun-Hee, when she died he no longer cared about their baby. he still died violent, young, and desperate for more money to repair what he broke with 222. he will forever be a bad person but a victim to the game like everyone else. this is why I love him

this character has nothing to do with people “defending him” because he’s handsome and good looking. yall just dont understand that 333 cared about 222 and the baby. he was very respectful of 222’s wishes and understood that she needed space and was very upset with him previous to the games. yes he has made mistakes and no one is perfect but he wanted his baby mama and newborn baby out and safe to start a new life with them both. so once 222 died, none of that really mattered anymore.
