season two had issues but it's not the terrible season people make it up to be. the pacing is the worst issue in my opinion. i don't have issues with the character's arc themselves, but i think with maybe even longer episodes or at least a couple new ones maybe it wouldn't feel so rushed. season 2 was very good and a lot of characters grew on me because of their arcs in this season. i don't understand why people can't let go of their own issues and see the show for what it really is.

I believe that over the years that it took for s2 to come out, it led to people becoming consumed in their beliefs and imaginations of what would happen and are upset that the fantasies they built for over 3 years didn't come to fruition, and instead turned to blaming the writers and creators than deconstructing their own headcanons and imaginations.

But here's the thing, writers of s2 are different. Plenty of people who wrote s1 just wasn't work in s2. Check imdb. So people who stayed, most inexperienced ones. That's reason why s2 so bad

The fact that they wanted to make the characters worse doesn't stop them from being badly written. Arcane 2 has many sides to go around to point out how mediocre it is and it's because those plots that were attempted to be handled or were rushed, or are poorly written

Ask anyone of these people who say that season 2 was written poorly to analyze any of the characters and you’d swear they watched a completely different show. I’m so over the discourse. people just didn’t understand what they watched at all. it’s so disheartening.

season 2 was simply way too fast. they were basically rushing to finish the show for some reason. The way they handle Caitlyn and mel storyline was very bad especially

People really believed Caitlyn became the Ultimate Villain 😂 Like, yeah - she did wrong and will work to redeem herself but we really didn’t get Evil Caitlyn. (Can you imagine if we did though? Show us AU Evil Caitlyn.)

There's no problem with characters development into something bad. Breaking bad excellent example of it. Problem is consistency. S2 never had a chance because it to much events for one season. Too rushed. And without experienced writers. It's just a mess

God arcane season 2 has become the most overhated season oat obviously it’s not as good as season 1, yk why cause season 1 is literally a 11/10 them outdoing themselves would be very hard, season 2 is a 8/10 and had a amazing ending and is a great season of tv

For me its the character development and the lost of interesting moments (ex. The scenes of jinx/ekko after she tries to off herself) in favour of stupid stuff that just didn’t add to my enjoyment of the show (the whole unnecessary Abby Caitlyn thing, the of characters like sebb and loris and other characters that just frankly added nothing; the alternate verse with the non insane jinx)

How to identify, to put it mildly, not the smartest person? He will tell you that season 2 is bad The pace, the emphasis on visual storytelling, the work with characters - these are the main advantages of S2, which make it the greatest season of its genre
