Actually the only reason this happened is because when the anime came out there was no official skin color so they just made her tan but later Oda said she was meant to be like Russian

Robin was white pre timeskip though? Nothing against people drawing her tanned pre ts like she is in the anime, I think her design was great but… she & several other characters were only ever drawn that way in the anime. Again, love tan Robin, love tan Zoro, & Ussop is most definetily African. But she was never… MEANT to be tanned.

Yall need to remember her skin tone was changed from the manga, and it doesn’t make sense given where she comes from. They realistically just made it a really dark tan she lost being in a winter area during the time skip. Her current design is what oda design and is based on Russians. All the crew have their designs based on people all over the world such as luffy Brazilian and Franky America

Did yall not notice the fact before the time skip they were on a desert, than above the clouds, then water seven, then one arc without light then there was TS, where she was on a snowy island imprisoned or smth, ofc she got lighter 😭
