I'm 40. And just recently I just realized this. My wife is sick. She has Lupus and CHF. And right now we're in the process of waiting for a diagnosis of dementia, unfortunately. There is no purpose. There is only moments. We aren't promised TIME, clearly. I'm done dreaming of buying a home- they're unaffordable. I'm done saving money for "retirement". We have to live NOW.

Maybe I won't explain this well, but I will try. The washing machine, pen and oven have the purpose of washing, writing and baking and nothing more than that, it is the achievement of a certain goal, a purposeful good. While a man can give washing, writing and baking more, a true good, he can give it the meaning of why he washes, writes or bakes. Does this make any sense? 🤔

Can you tell me how someone like me find moments meaningful again when I am grieving my father that passed last year and then my 51 year old sister two months later. She struggled and fought a brain tumor. The last few months of her life was heart shattering. The tumor took away her physical functions and thinking. She wanted to live so badly for her kids and now she is gone. Just memories remain and I am still live mourning everyday. How do I let go of that and find meaning? Because I am struggling
