@nora.tvd666: #squidgameseason3 people keep saying we didn’t get any #457 moments this season. did we watch the same show? this season actually reinforced the existence of this ship more than ever. i believe in-ho canonically loves gi-hun. maybe not romantically, but he definitely cares about him. he tried to save gi-hun’s life by offering him a deal, which gi-hun refused. in-ho wanted to prove to himself that he’s not alone. he cried when gi-hun couldn’t bring himself to do what in-ho once did as a player. by asking gi-hun to kill the other players, in-ho was trying to convince himself that he’d had no other choice when faced with the same proposition. but when gi-hun chose differently, in-ho broke down. he saw himself in gi-hun and glimpsed what his own fate might have been if he’d made another choice. he grieved gi-hun’s death, and deep down, he truly looks up to him. gi-hun is the man in-ho wishes he could be. ꧁༺༻꧂ || ib/ac/cc: me || #squidgameseason3 #squidgameseason3edit #squidgame #squidgamenetflix #squidgameseason2 #squidgameseason1 #humansare #seonggihun #seonggihunedit #gihun #gihunedit #player456 #player456squidgame #456 #456squidgame #hwanginho #hwanginhoedit #inho #inhoedit #frontman #frontmansquidgame #frontmadedit #player001 #001 #player001edit #gihunsquidgame #inhosquidgame #457 #457squidgame #inhun #bl #sad #betrayal #tvshow #netflix #inthestars #aftereffects #ae #edit #aftereffectsedit #foryoupage #fyp

In my opinion inhun is the most beautiful representation of yin and yang. Good and bad, light and dark exists within everything and ourselves. One cannot exist without the other, it’s bound. Despite of all the darkness in Inho, there’s still a light in him that Gihun managed to enlighten. They will always be soulmates

Why can't people see the fact that Inho actually wanted Gihun to reject his advice on killing everyone in his sleep. He wanted to see if Gihun will make the same mistake he did when he was scared of dying and if he did, Inho himself would've completely lost his hope in humanity. Instead in the scene where Gihun is standing with the knife on the players neck, the frontman is watching carefully, hoping that Gihun still has humanity in him, and when Gihun finally decides to drop the knife, the frontman starts tearing up and not because he was proven wrong and was mad about it, but because he was proven wrong and was relieved that Gihun is the good person he is, and the frontman and his lost hope in humanity are now resurrected. In short, the frontman admired Gihun even more because of his decision to drop the knife, he was so relieved that good people still exist that he started crying.

Gi-hun's final act wasn't just a rejection of the game. It was a rejection of the philosophy that created it. The Front Man believed humans are inherently selfish, driven by survival and greed, no better than horses forced to run for others’ amusement. But Gi-hun proved that wrong by doing the one thing no one else could refusing to play, even if it meant dying. His choice wasn’t strategic. It wasn’t for reward. It was to preserve something bigger than himself, something like compassion, dignity, and choice. His last words, "We are not horses. We are humans. Humans are..." The silence afterward says everything. It’s not unfinished by accident. It’s a question, a challenge, maybe even a warning. How do you define human after everything we’ve seen? The games showed us the worst. Betrayal. Cruelty. Cowardice. But they also showed us sacrifice, love, and resistance. So what are humans? Are we good? Evil? Selfish? Kind? Maybe we’re all of it at once. Gi-hun’s story doesn’t give us a clean answer. It forces you to ask what being human even means. Is humanity just compassion? If so, what about the people who created the games? They were human too. The word humanity starts to lose meaning when you realize the same species capable of kindness is also capable of horror. In the end, Gi-hun didn’t try to fix humanity. He just chose to be the kind of human he believed should exist. Not perfect. Not heroic. Just human. And maybe that’s the only answer there is.

Honestly, I think the ending was perfect. Gihun didn’t just survive, he proved something deeper. The Frontman believed people are naturally selfish, that when pushed, they’ll always turn on each other. But Gihun showed the opposite. That even in a place as brutal and hopeless as the Squid Game, compassion can still exist. People can still choose to be good. And then there’s that final line “We are not horses, we are humans. Humans are…” and he just stops. That unfinished thought hits hard. Horses act on instinct. They’re forced into wars, into races, into someone else's game. They run because they don’t have a choice. And maybe that’s what the Squid Game was, people running out of desperation. But humans? We’re not supposed to be like that. We’re supposed to have a choice. But choose what exactly? That’s where it gets messy. Gihun saw it all. The greed, betrayal, cruelty, but also love, sacrifice, and kindness. So what does it really mean to be human? We use the word “humanity” like it means compassion or empathy, but the people who built the game were human. The ones who killed and betrayed were human. So are the kind ones the only true humans? Or is all of it just us? Maybe that’s why he couldn’t finish the sentence. Maybe he didn’t have an answer. And honestly, neither do we. Humans aren’t just good or bad. We’re capable of everything. That word “humanity” doesn’t mean much by itself. It’s what we choose to do with it that defines us.

He respected Gi Hun cause he was the opposite of him. He did whatever he could to win the games while all Gi Hun cared about was protecting everyone. He put Gi Hun though hell and back and he never changed until that final moment he killer himself to prove frontman wrong

ngl, the main reason why he did this, I think, is cause Gi-Hun still believed in humanity, despite everything, and Gi-hun was one of the few with a soul of actual humanity instead of greed like all the others, and it hurts In-ho to lose such a person

I think the reason why In-ho created this game is he did believe that humans were greedy and money hungry. But Gi-hun wanted to prove to In-ho that humanity still exists. Thats why he wanted to end this game for once and for all,by sacrificing himself for the baby. His sacrifice meant to end this game forever,to save the baby. It meant that he still has hope in humanity even after all the suffering in all the games in every season.
