Agree…my 10 yr old still sleeps with me because my husband works nights. I love every minute of it, because one day she will be moving on and I won’t have this

5 kids, ranging from 29 to 3... any one of them can snuggle with me, or have me sit or lie with them, but only the 3yo wants anything to do with that, lol.

Uh my both of my kids 10 and 8 both still like my husband and I to lay with them until they’re asleep. Never going to get these years back.

a few months after my son was born he caught RSV and went to the ER. my parents drove for 5 hours and they let me cry in their bed because I was so burnt out.

I still lay with my 16 yr old..we talk about the day, laugh, talk about life. I don’t think age dictates how we treat our kids

My mom passed at 44. I am about to be 43. What I wouldn't give, even at this age to crawl up next to my mom and feel safe and seen. There is no age limit to love & comfort.

my kids slept with me all the time. I now have an 18 yr old who will come in and lay with me and tell me about his day, cry if needed, ask for advice, share his life with me, and trusts me.

I coslept with all my kids until they were 3 or 4. They all transferred into their own beds seamlessly and go to bed by themselves now. No harm loving on them while they a little and forever z

Adolescent therapist here & Mom to 3 teens too. There is some reality that many parents unintentionally actually create anxiety in their kids with cosleeping, especially w/ older kids. Kids will tell me they feel like their parents don’t believe they are capable and translate it as so. But these comments are so black and white. Many who cosleep are loving and many are not as much. Many who refuse to do it are also very loving and many are not as much. Majority of parents are trying their best.

My three kids, 13, 15, and 18 like me to come in at lights out and kiss their foreheads and tell them I love them. Every night….guess we’re weird.

When my oldest was 18, she went to the theaters and saw a horror movie with friends. Soon after she got home that night, she was crawling into my bed because she was too scared to sleep alone. It was the best feeling knowing I was her safe space. It reminded me I was doing something right.

We co-slept until just before he turned six, and now putting him to bed is the best part of my day. It’s the only time when we really have focused deep conversations. And his relationship with sleep is so much better than ours. No regrets.

The only rule I had when my daughter was growing up is that she would be allowed to sleep with me and cuddle with me for as long as she wanted because at some point, she was gonna wanna stop. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
