“He didn’t even love her at all.” EXCUSE ME?? UHM, Yes, he did. Before he even knew Junhee was in the game, he voted to stay (O). But the moment he realized she was there, he changed his vote to leave (X). Why? So they could possibly reconcile and leave together. During the 6-legged pentathlon, he didn’t hesitate — he immediately went to her and asked to team up. She turned him down. In Mingle, when it came down to just two people, he ran STRAIGHT TO HER with NO hesitation on his face AT ALL, he grabbed her hand and pulled her into a room. In Keys and Knives, he asked her to switch roles — not because he didn’t want to be hider, but because he knew she couldn’t bring herself to kill someone. He knew she didn’t have it in her. And once he had eliminated the number of people needed, his first instinct? Go find her. ( but sadly player 124 influenced him to kill more people — but that’s not our topic ) “But he killed Hyunju!” Because he had no idea they were a team?? If he had known, he never would’ve done it. He thought Hyunju might’ve been a threat to Junhee. In the jump rope challenge, he waited for her. He even offered to carry her, but she refused as she was still mad at him. And after her death, you can literally see him fall apart. He clearly lost his mind. The baby??? He said he wanted to throw her off — but he CLEARLY didn’t do it. He immediately started crying as soon as he said it, because he knew he couldn’t go through with it. He only said it to scare Gi-hun away. The grief was driving him insane, and that led to his death. And don’t forget — in almost EVERY episode, he was watching her. To make sure she was okay. To make sure the baby was okay. He was a horrible father, but he indeed still loved her.
