I make this all the time, I actually use 2 cups of rice and add one cup of water with everything else you did. Makes twice as much!

Lightly toast rice in butter in pan then pour into pan. French onion & beef consommé into rice. Brown porkchops then put on top. Bake. Yesssssssss.
