i think this is heavily misinterpreted. Tony Stark if he wasn't ever a billionaire would mean he NEVER thought of the iron suit. he wouldn't have owned Stark Industries, never would've made weapons, never would've gotten kidnapped. it's 'if he was NEVER a billionaire' not 'if he no longer WAS a billionaire.'
