This night was a complete fail :( parents how do you do this with out your heart breaking? We did the gentle sleep training method which is pretty much a gentler ferber method for sleep training your baby. where the first day you only let them cry for 1 minute increments and when you go in to soothe them youre able to pick them up and rock them before putting them back in the crib. You never increase the time its always 1 minute on the furst day and each day after that you increase the time by 1 minute. For instance on day 2 all crying increments will be 2 minutes. We wanted to go with a gentler approach because i feel so bad seeing and hearing her cry. Parents are there any tips? Recommendations? Should i not do it the gentle way? Is that not effective? Right now we are safely co sleeping with our 10 month old.
