do people forget that fiona grew up taking care of everyone and everything, even her parents. Obviously she isnt gonna know how to do it correctly?? Shes a very realistic character who has childhood trauma. she was neglected her whole life.

unpopular opinion Fiona was forced to grow up at a very young age and doesn’t know how to properly communicate her emotions and often comes off as “mean” or “selfish”.

"she's so selfish" yes of course she's selfish for the choice that she made because she was finally being selfish for the first time in her life for herself when she spent her whole childhood and her whole life being selfless

Ofc she’s selfish, her entire life was based on taking care of others, and simply just trauma filled, I’m not saying her actions were right, but let’s not act like it’s some kind of revelation, she’s a realistic and well written character who responded to most things realistically

unpopular opinion but Fiona deserved better. She spent 8 years of her life RAISING her siblings instead of putting that effort into herself. I don't blame her for leaving, I would to. She never got to experience a proper childhood while she gave everything to her siblings, including her own future.

i fear that she was selfish but also such an amazing character, and if you watch the show she goes through so many INSANE things? and was forced to take care of all of her siblings since they were born, you’d seem a little selfish too when you have no understanding of ur emotions because you grew up needing to learn how to survive and keep other children alive aswell.

nah everyone saying she’s selfish didn’t watch the show, she was anything BUT selfish until she was leaving, until she tried to be better and be her own person. than everyone turned on her and acted and reacted to her as if she was this god awful person, no one wanted to help her, everyone snapped at her, and no one cared for her until the moment she left. she had every single right to be the person she was up to the end because she FINALLY got to be selfish.

I think Fiona may have felt slightly abandoned or shoved away once v had other responsibilities and I think that's actually kinda valid. Obviously V wasn't in the wrong by any means, and Fiona being rude towards her was unjustified. It's also just unrealistic to want or expect your friends to be available for you 24/7 but I can also understand feeling that way, especially for her (with parents who physically and emotionally abandoned her)
