If a driver says his tyres are fine and wants to extend, it should be a conversation, but when it's Lewis then the team need to listen and provide all the information needed to ensure his decision is valuable. Ferrari have a problem, and those problems need to be removed to make way for several employees who need to progress their careers.

Ok I'll have to defend Ferrari on this one. Lewis was not going to hold on to P3 all the way to the end on those tires. Besides, Charles was clearly faster overall

First point. I’m a Hamilton fan first and foremost. But Ferrari did not care which car finished in which position today. They got a 3-4 their best result of the season. Lewis beating Lec does nothing for them as a team. They had no pressure and wanted to had a safe clean finish. They need points. So no risk

I know they would not let him get third by a 1 stop beating Charles, but we do know he is very good with his tires and in the past it might have been his choice, but he needs to qualify higher to get that call. I think he could have done it he ran in clean air

They did the right decision but didn't communicate it well. If he stayed out till the end he'd risk the car being underweight or excessive plank damage.
