Alright, let’s be real. GTA VI completely wipes the floor with Death Stranding 2 and it’s not even close. People act like DS2 is some graphical masterpiece but it’s really just a dressed-up walking simulator with moody music, overlong cutscenes, and a puppet whispering about trauma like it’s delivering deep life lessons. You spend most of the game hiking across empty landscapes, balancing boxes, and pretending vague dialogue like “the strand of extinction is within us” is peak storytelling just because it’s Kojima. Meanwhile, GTA VI is doing everything DS2 wants to do but way better. It’s not just about looking good. GTA VI’s world actually lives. The city breathes, the NPCs react naturally, the AI systems are layered, and the interactions feel real. Rockstar’s engine is handling a thousand moving parts at once and yet somehow it still looks better than DS2, which has barely anything going on in the background. That’s not just good graphics, that’s full-blown world-building. And that’s the real difference. DS2 is all symbolism and slow pacing with barely any gameplay underneath. GTA VI is substance. One gives you cryptic speeches and metaphors, the other gives you freedom, chaos, and immersion on a level DS2 can’t touch. Rockstar doesn’t need artsy smoke and mirrors, they just build incredible games. Kojima tells you what to feel. Rockstar lets you feel it. GTA VI isn’t just better, it’s in another league.
