This is why I think social constructs are counterproductive. Men should & want to feel sought after & desired. It’s human instinct but society tells men that we aren’t supposed to feel like the “prize” or we aren’t supposed to be pursued and it’s like the men who fit the beauty standard absolutely are made to feel like the prize and are equally pursued. Our self esteem takes hits the same way women’s self esteem does. It’s just sad seeing how colorism, texturism, height bias, 🍆 size, vulnerability etc all affect the way women see men yet they don’t acknowledge the negative implications they have on the male psyche. i pray the women of your dreams makes herself available to you my brother so you won’t have to guess or question your confidence anymore
