You got this! I was super nervous the first flight as well. But just feed during take off and landing and you should be fine! Also wear baby through the airport and on and off the plane. Don’t be afraid to ask for help! People offered to help so much it was so sweet.

Don’t feel like you have to take your whole house with you. Carry as light weight as you can and most airlines will check a stroller and bassinet for free. Check a bag if you have to because trying to haul bags through the airport especially with a grumpy baby can make you feel so overwhelmed. Wear baby!!! This one is crucial cause it’ll block out a lot of the flight noise. You got this🥰

Baby carrier. Try to plan a feeding at takeoff and landing if possible. Swallowing helps their ears adjust.

I flew solo with my 4 month old. Tried to time up nap with flight and just wore her on me. She did great and slept the whole time. Also I had SO many people say please let me know if you need help/anything!

Feed going up and down otherwise their ears will pop and it will hurt them due to the pressure. Make sure they're eating the WHOLE down going up and down.

I’m here to share something I read if ppl give you a hard time about having your baby on the plane. It read “ppl are entitled to a child free life not a child free world” so don’t be stressed out if the your bundle of joy gets fussy or anything! ❤️

I got an airplane arm pillow! It goes around your arm and it felt silly but it kept my hand from falling asleep and she looks comfy sleeping on my arm

Honestly flying at 4 weeks was SO MUCH EASIER than flying with a toddler and I wish I appreciated that when i did it😭 baby wear, have milk/nursing ready, binky if you use one! Mine slept the WHOLE time

I also traveled when my baby was 4 weeks. Long international flight. Pediatrician suggested pacifier or feeding for take off and landing to help with the ear pressure. I used a baby wrap and she stayed there majority of the time.

Make sure to have baby drink a bottle on take off to help with ears, most people know if a baby is crying the mom is crying on the inside. People are usually nice so be patient and know you got this! Gas drops, and all of the things that help with relaxing for baby.❤️Oh also hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes to keep clean. Airports and planes are dirty 💙 safe flight 🥰

Try to do a red eye flight or during a time you KNOW they always nap, feed during take off and decent, we always flew delta and sat first class if we could to make it as least stressful as possible. For travelnin general we use training puppy pads to change on and its saved us so many times

I know that everyone has their reason/need to travel. But I’m so paranoid about taking my baby out of the house until they have their first round of vaccines. Like I literally won’t let the baby leave the house til then. Is that weird?

Easy peasy at this age. The sounds/movement of the plane lull them right to sleep. Just be prepared to hold baby for the duration.
