@shotsavant: “I feel confused”-shotsavant poem. Guys please don’t be too tough on me this is my first poem. I am not a good writer ✍️ and I don’t feel very smart. This poem is just how I feel… I obviously don’t want someone to take my freedoms away but it’s just a raw feeling I had so I wrote it down and created a voice over for it. I honestly love the freedom America gives and offers. There is honestly no where else I can imagine myself living and there are so many things I absolutely love about America. As a refugee of war directly caused by America in Afghanistan, I can’t help but feel helpless in a country that no matter how hard I work, I can’t seem to escape poverty or have enough to have a healthy family. This poem is just how I feel… I obviously don’t want someone to take my freedoms away but it’s just a raw feeling I had so I wrote it down and created a voice over for it. I used my videos from Italy and Rome in the background and it just felt so creative and fun and scary to do. It’s liberating to just speak and voice your deepest feelings no matter how scary 😱 it feels or who will judge you.
