I don’t know about that for me 😂 it brings me overwhelming happiness, but also challenge in so many ways. I don’t think writing my books should be easy, I’d be doing it wrong. Even getting out of bed can be hard, after all. And I’m proud of me, still doing it. I’ve made the story more complicated than I was ready to handle so the learning curve is STEEP and I think that’s totally fine. I’m taking me time.

I am doing far too much editing in the first draft stages so I think I needed to hear this ... as in literally aged up almost half of the cast and have to rework the beginning again 💔 I'm telling myself that this has to be the last time or I'm not gonna finish this first draft 😭

I just got my feedback from Beta readers after nearly a month and I was feeling so excited to look through their comments because when I sent the book off I knew there were still some problems but I felt good with it and unfortunately their comments did crash some of that excitement I had to get back into my story. They were polite but I think my problem was reading them all at once so the constructive criticism overthrew that positive feedback

I don't even know any rules of writing. I've been cut off from playing story driven games for a long time that I just needed something to fill in that void. I crafted scenes but haven't actually written anything yet. I think I'm not even addicted to gaming as much as I used to be anymore because of that😂
