To help cool an overheated dog pour water on the ears, there are a lot of blood vessels close to the surface and evaporation will help cool body temperature. I once helped a friend save her unconscious overheated dog this way. I poured water on ears and belly why she got her keys, then she rushed dog to vet. Vet said the water on the ears probably saved the dog!

One my dogs would run away as soon she gets a chance even though shes very spoiled and loved thank god the other one is scared of people and other animals even bees and flies 😂

be careful doing this especially with big dogs It can cause their gut to flip and twist and it's pretty much fatal quickly and painfully.

Looks like a Great Pyrenees . They love to explore and sometimes owners just know they will come back home . I keep a GPS tracker on mine so I know where he’s at and that he’s in a safe area .

BLOAT is real in large, deep chested dogs. If they bloat and their stomach twists they can die within an hour. Many ppl don't even realize it's happening. Don't give water or food within an hour before or after exercise.
