Looking strong and being strong is deceptive. You can be lean and still be strong. Most peoples definition of strong is a joke. Take a week of Jiu Jitsu classes and roll with guys that have doing it for years and you will experience true strength.

Hell yeah. I do it now too. I went into a “bulk” over the winter. Put on 15 lbs of muscle, got a ton stronger. Now that summer is here. I’m self conscious of my gut. But I did it to my self. Wife likes this version better though.

I’m 47, I run 3 miles once per week for cardio. I do CrossFit 3-4 times a week. I used to want to bulk up but decided it would be more work to do so. I went from 200 down to 160 and currently maintain 165-170 range. I love the new me!!

🤣Nope. I'm 46 & been yo-yoing like this for 13 years now. Best thing I've done was to eat 250 calories (not grams) of protein over my maintenance calories and 15 minutes of walking after gym sessions. I've kept my strength, stay lean with very slow gains.
