You’ve gone to the gym 4x/week for years.. but look exactly the same, why? 🤔 If you signed up for the gym because you wanted to lose weight (like most people when they start, me included 🙋♂️).. You may have even joined a super nice facility, got the comfiest lifting gloves, the best pre-workout… Signed up with a personal trainer for $100/session multiple times a week… But you’re still the same weight, pants and shirts fit the same way, and you feel stuck.. It’s frustrating 🫠 I’ve been there, here’s 4 tips to avoid wasting a ton of time and money ACTUALLY hitting your goals? 💸 1️⃣ CALORIES MATTER: 60min in the gym will NOT make you lose weight, even if you burn 500 calories in a super intense cardio session.. if you’re eating 4000 calories per day.. you’re likely gonna gain weight. We need a CALORIE DEFICIT, don’t overcompensate your calorie burn by eating MORE 2️⃣ GET DATA: Log your food and your morning weigh ins. See how those 2 relate to each other. Look at your weekly weight trend and adjust your consumption habits. “If you do the same thing you’ve been doing, you’ll get the same results.” Take your waist measurement to ensure you lose fat (and not JUST weight) 3️⃣ LOG YOUR TRAINING: Idc what your trainer is telling you.. if you are not getting stronger, you’re NOT gaining muscle. No amount of boss ball, eyes closed, reverse banded, bicep curls will build you muscle if you are NOT seeing increases in your strength. If your training feels overly complicated.. it probably is🤷♀️ 4️⃣ BUILDING MUSCLE TAKES TIME: If you want to look more jacked fast, you don’t need to gain 10lbs of muscle, you often need to l use 10lbs of fat. Which is GREAT!
