The grandfather speculated that a rejection or lack of progress in that field may have “snapped” him.

I dreamed of being a firefighter before graduating high school. I wanted to be a hero and save lives but sadly I was misinformed on how to get in and told I wouldn’t make the cut. But I never thought of seeking any type of revenge jeez.
