@brutamerica: A new estimate from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) said that the Big Beautiful Bill would add $3.3 trillion to the U.S. debt. Where are the republicans who were screaming about lowering the national debt?

Biden added 7 trillion in 4 years . I think we can handle those peanuts over 10 years. The tariffs will pay it with ease!

yall liberals need to take a math class and stop falling for out of context rage bait posts. sure it would add 3.3 tril, but we're already saving money other ways and will continue to in other ways. if you budget but allow yourself a cheat day it's still a net positive. get some f context.

So genuine question… tax cuts for everyone gives money back to Americans. A reduction in gov income means the government is forced to cut spending somewhere or go into more debt. The government doesn’t generate money- it’s all tax dollars- our money taken by the gov. Less tax’s on us and less spending by the government is a good thing for everyone I thought. Poor, middle class, and the wealthy. Social programs like Medicare and SNAP for people who qualify are not affected by these cuts. Can someone explain why this is a bad thing?

Trump is an intelligent business man and has been successful for years. He was up front from day 1 about this but the media as usual likes to cause chaos and spread lies. Where is the proof of anything they or the democrats say all I see is nothing but whining and crying 😂

Government should have to pay 25% interest rate on money it borrows from Americans. Just like Americans and their credit cards.

This doesn’t include the revenue from tariffs, it will easily offset this even our first month of tariffs have raised billions according to CNN

One huge problem with this math is it’s not accounting for this: Tax cuts don’t reduce revenue. They INCREASE revenue bc more money is in circulation and every time a dollar moves the gov makes money. In this post it shows the tax cuts as dollar/dollar being lost.

Love how suddenly the left trusts the CBO, but when the CBO graded Bidens inflation reduction act and said it would actually do nothing to help inflation, rather make it worse, then the left hated the CBO and said the CBO didn't know what it was doing and did everything they could to discredit the CBO.
