I’d argue Subaru’s trauma and memories are worse and more straining, but Subaru’s mental fortitude is way higher than Han-Bin. Because in arc 6, after dying a total of sub-50 times. Someone experiences Subaru’s memories of dying, not too dissimilar to what the Ghost girl (I forget her name) did to Han-Bin. Yet the girl struggles mentally and says that he is “A monster. No human can go through such torment” comes out so mentally broken she reverts to a toddler mindset and can barely speak, while the Ghost girl, upon experiencing Han-bin’s memories somewhat, isn’t as mentally disturbed

Both characters are equally GOAT's and carry a pain that only they and no one else can understand. In terms of mental disorder, I could say that Hanbin reaches a more critical state than Subaru at his worst (arcs 3 and 6), since Hanbin is also burdened by this uncontrollable need to kill that completely clouds his judgment and humanity.

crashout king wins, I've read the novels. Subaru had friends and wasn't alone heck he even have satella while hanbin spent 22 years alone with the monsters getting stronger everytime, with a broken guideline, no one to talk with (heck he even learned the language of those monsters for them just to mess him up more) and he didn't even know when he will get out.

arc 7-9 insane in main & gluttony if the darkest unlike hanbin temperance stopping itself to kill somebody this Subaru is insane. Killing becames an habit and greed if 100m times loses value of his life and becames puppet to echidina
